Good Question
Why Am I (Still) A Republican?
I’ve been wondering that about myself, recently. Not so much whether I am a Republican. I switched parties a while back to have some choice in local elections. However, I grew up Republican, and I’m amazed at the capacity of this administration to make that seem puzzling and embarrassing at the same time. ![]()

I’ve always thought that this group isn’t republican at all. It is some sort of wierd corporate/religious progressivism.

Really, I’m not sure that you were ever a Republican. I mean, you are not really all that pro-business, you don’t believe in laissez-faire economics, and really, when you get down to it, you have centrist ideas about most social issues. Then you met me and I corrupted you further. Just face it — we don’t think like the vast majority out there do — the Republican and Democratic parties do not meet our needs — because they are, in the end, both about business over people and have a messed up idea about what rights and responsibilities are. Okay, end of rant.
