Oh, and by the way, I’m back from Washington, DC. I always get paranoid about blogging when I’m leaving the house for any significant length of time, but I should really start blogging on trips.

Blogging on the road can be interesting. I made a post one time from my wife’s parents’ home in Georgia, commenting on the unique history of the place: their house is literally across the road from the spot where the Trail of Tears began (as in where the treaty that started it all was signed). But otherwise I’m like you. Maybe I’ll invest in a laptop sometime to do serious blogging from the field

So what if one of your faithful readers was in DC with you. You could have blogged about mini burgers at Matchbox or walking around town with your wife (wife: “my feet hurt”, “can we get more water”, “I need to eat”)
